Ashghal announces the full temporary road closure on Grand Hamad Street starting from Friday, 31 December 2021 for three months. Al Fanar Junction will be closed completely, in addition to the full temporary road closure on Abdullah Bin Jassem Street. The closure is taking place to enable the works for the Central Doha and Corniche Beautification Project with the coordination of the Traffic Department.
Commuters using the Al Corniche Road can use alternative roads like the A-Ring Road Street, Jasim Bin Mohammed Street and Ali Bin Abdullah Street and avoid using inner roads to reach their destination.
Ashghal will use the appropriate signs to guide the road users on this closure and advise them to follow the speed limit to maintain their safety.
