Governor West Bay preps its staff to provide excellent service during Ramadan
As part of its preparatory process for the holy month of Ramadan, Governor West Bay Suites and Residence is organizing a series of training sessions and workshops for its staff and administration. The hotel wishes to provide a well-rounded luxurious and relaxing Ramadan experience to all guests. In order to facilitate this, the hotel’s multicultural staff has been undergoing intensive training sessions to get well-acquainted with the customs and traditions of Qatar.
Commenting on these preparations, Magdy Shoukry, General Manager of Governor West Bay and Residence, said “A large number of our guests are families from around the GCC region who are in Qatar on a long-term basis. Our goal during Ramadan has always been to make our guests feel at home. To most of them, Qatar is not their home, so we seek to create an ambience and experience which will result in them feeling like they are celebrating Ramadan in a familial atmosphere. We see that the best way to ensure such an experience would be to deliver excellent service from our multicultural staff. The workshops that we are currently organizing will serve to provide staff members with the meaning of Ramadan and the knowledge of customs during the month, all of which are required to serve the guests from all over the region. That being said, everyone is welcome here, anyone who seeks a comfortable and peaceful Ramadan experience.”
Keeping in line with the spirit of Ramadan, the hotel is all set to offer its guests complete culinary experiences through its sumptuous Iftar and Sohour buffets at the Red restaurant and the shisha terrace. Catering for these meals is also available. No Ramadan experience is complete without sweets, so Ramadan sweets and desserts will be available for take away purchase too. The hotel’s spa will also offer a number of other services during this month.
