The Australian and New Zealand Business in Qatar (Anzbiq) group yesterday held a special event to mark the opening match of the Rugby World Cup 2011 being held in New Zealand. The event at the Grand Hyatt Doha drew more than 60 people of various nationalities. They watched the spectacular opening ceremony and inaugural game between New Zealand and Tonga. The event was attended by South African Ambassador Dr Vincent Zulu and Swaziland Ambassador Felizwe Dlamini. “It was a great opportunity to bring all nationalities together to celebrate this significant event for New Zealand. Anzbiq hopes to hold more events of this nature as the Rugby World Cup continues,” an official said Gulf Times
