• The Sultan’s Tent Bazaar was officially opened by the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage of Qatar, HE Dr. Hamad Al-Kuwari and the Turkish Ambassador, H.E. Emre Yunt on the 24/07/2012 • Products specially brought from the Gran Bazaar in Turkey are in display • The Sultan’s Tent will features food stations from different parts of the world and live music Doha, 24 July 2012. The Sultan’s tent at W Doha offers with the perfect line-up for family and friends to come together to celebrate a sublime Ramadan with exquisite menus in the most impressive and unique set up. The Sultan’s tent count with a modern Ottoman inspired deco ‘fit for a Sultan’ with several stations featuring food from different parts of the world and with a Bazaar located at the entrance of the Tent on the mezzanine floor. The Sultan’s tent Bazaar, was officially opened by the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage of Qatar, HE Dr. Hamad Al-Kuwari & the Turkish Ambassador, H.E. Emre Yunt on the 24th of July. It showcases a wide variety of hand made goods and products such as traditional Turkish carpets, silver jewelry, embroideries, crystal, silver & copper tea and coffee sets, beautiful silk scarfs, pillow cases, table runners & bed covers, and more, all designed and offered by Turkish merchants that came all the way from the Grand Bazaar in Turkey, one of the biggest covered market in the world. The Bazaar will be open to the public everyday from 12:00 noon to 02:00 in the morning during the Holy month of Ramadan Safak Guvenc, general Manager W Doha Hotel & Residences, said: ‘The holy month of Ramadan is all about sharing and getting together with family and friends. At W Doha, we make sure we offer our guest the perfect place to spend their Iftars or Sohours with their beloved ones in a venue with great decoration and food offers to secure them a great Ramadan experience’ He added, ‘W Doha is all about innovation, creating memorable experiences and offering the best to our guest that’s why every year we change the theme of out tent and focus in making it more impressive than the previous ones. This year’s tent counts with an Ottoman inspired design and with a real Bazaar that showcases products that have been brought all the way from the Grand Bazaar in Turkey, something that has not been done in any tent yet’ The Sultan’s tent, at the W Doha’s Great Room, welcomes guests in an amazing modern Ottoman inspired design, ‘fit for a Sultan’ and with a traditional Bazaar located from the mezzanine area to the entrance of the tent. Guests will be met with a mouth- watering five star feast to blast their taste buds, whilst dining in luxurious comfort surrounded by exotic and tempting aromas of dishes from all the corners of the world.
