The Government Communications Office tweeted on 21 August 2021 saying that the Qatar Amiri Air Force has safely evacuated Afghan citizens, students, foreign diplomats, and journalists from Afghanistan. It also mentioned that the State of Qatar will spare no effort to support the Afghan people through diplomacy, dialogue and aid.
