In a news on Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, the Bahrain Foreign Minister has been quoted as saying that two invitations were sent by the GCC country to Qatar requesting them to send a delegation for bilateral talks to Bahrain to settle outstanding issues, based on the Al-Ula Declaration.
In the news, The Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed that:
"Bahrain looks forward to having Qatar take the right and necessary steps to achieve Gulf unity in all its aspects, and calls on the State of Qatar to constructively interact with the decision of the ICAO Council regarding amending the regional plan for air navigation for the Middle East, which calls upon the two countries to allow the good offices of the President of the Organization to reach a consensus between the two countries on regulating air traffic in the region, in a manner that guarantees the security and safety of international civil aviation, and preserves the rights of all countries, which will lead to consolidating Gulf unity and strengthening the process of joint Gulf cooperation towards greater integration and interdependence."
His Excellency (H.E.) Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular Affairs for Saudi Arabia Tamim Al Dossary met with Acting Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Saudi Arabia Hassan bin Mansour Al Khater. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, according to the MoFA Qatar.
On 21 June 2021, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani received a copy of the credentials of H.E. Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State of Qatar Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al-Saud, according to the MoFA Qatar.
H.E. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs wished the new Ambassador success in his duties, assuring him of all support to advance bilateral relations between the two countries to achieve closer cooperation in various fields.
