Qatari nationals who plan to visit France can now apply for and obtain a visa to the country within 48 hours, officials have announced. Previously, the turnaround time depended on the capacity of the office to process the applications, an embassy spokesperson told Doha News.
Handled by agency Capago Mena, this also include “doorstep applications,” where an agent does visits to homes and offices to get the process underway. However, Applications for visit visas from other nationalities will take up to two weeks, the embassy added.
The French visa office will be open Sunday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 3:30 am by appointment.
Passport can be collected between 9:30 am to 3:30 am, from Sunday to Thursday.
Capago will be closed for visa applications according to the official closing dates of the French Consulate.
All minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardian.
