Al Sharq reported that the Ministry of Interior, in a joint campaign with North Security, has seized a number of bicycles for violating safety requirements, such as not installing lights, not wearing bright phosphorescent jackets and helmets. Not following safety requirements while riding a bicycle may cause serious accidents.

During the campaign, more than 10 bicycles were seized in an hour. The violating bicycles will be impounded for a week, and the owner must install lights and bring the phosphorescent jacket and helmets to get their bicycle back.
