A “fly-through” video posted on YouTube last month has offered a detailed view of the planned $824 million (QR3 billion) Mall of Qatar (MOQ).
Mall ofn Qatar is a new 4,176,000 square foot (GBA) shopping center currently under construction in Qatar. Mall of Qatar will have over 1,750,000 square feet of retail leasable space on 3 levels in addition to underground and surface parking for 7,000 cars.
The three-story complex is located off of Al Rayyan Highway, close to Education City and is slated to open in September 2015.
The 400 shops from luxury to the world’s leading powerhouse brands and an exciting array of food, beverage and entertainment will make this the premier destination in Qatar.
The video shows many of the mall’s offerings, including a hypermarket, multiplex, entertainment options like bowling and a food court.
You can also see a few trains running near the complex – though that transportation system won’t be online until several years after the Mall of Qatar opens
Construction is well underway and opening is scheduled for fall 2015 with an estimated 20 million customers anticipated annually.
