The Qatar Calendar House announced on 28 April 2023 that Saturday, 29 April 2023, will mark the start of the Al Kanaa season in Qatar.

يوم غدٍ 29 أبريل يبدأ #موسم_الكنة، ومدته 39 يومًا، وفيه أواخر أيام اعتدال الجو مساءً وبداية ارتفاع حرارة الصيف نهارًا، وتكثر فيه التقلبات الجوية والعواصف الترابية، وتهب في منتصفه رياح البوارح، وسميت بالكنة لاختفاء نجوم #الثريا خلالها، ولها من المنازل: الرشا، والشرطين، والبطين pic.twitter.com/rLLxIVZJu0

The season is expected to last for 39 days, with mild weather in the evenings and summer heat starting during the daytime.

As per the announcement, the season is also expected to bring fluctuating weather conditions, dust storms, along with strong winds.
