A fire has broken out in a building opposite the Swiss-Belhotel Doha on Al Aaliya Street, near the torch of 15th Asian Games 2006 in Old Al Salata. The Civil Defence is there right now and is in the process of extinguishing the fire, according to eyewitnesses.

Our ILQ followers have told us the fire is under control. There are no casualties, according to the Civil Defence, which was quick to reach the fire and contain it.
