A fire that broke out at the 19-storey Retaj Al Rayyan Hotel in Doha’s West Bay around 3.15pm was quickly brought under control by the Civil Defence firefighters. There were no injuries. All guests and employees were safely evacuated. A picture of the fire posted on twitter by Dario Passoni.
