Qatar’s former Emir has returned to the country after receiving emergency treatment in Switzerland for breaking his leg late last month.
Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani had been vacationing in Morocco when the incident happened on Dec. 26.
Upon his return to Qatar last night, Sheikh Hamad was welcomed by several of his sons, including the country’s Emir Sheikh Tamim, Sheikh Jassim and Sheikh Joaan, who posted a message and photo on Instagram expressing happiness at the return.
