Qatar is synonymous with luxurious lifestyles and high-end goods. Residents of the country are known for their love of different types of upscale products, while Qatari entities also own renowned luxury brands. Recently, there were reports of a Qatari fund acquiring French fashion house Balmain. Cars, of course, occupy a special position in Qatari society and the country's roads are home to a number of exotic and beautiful vehicles. Here's a list of some of them. We bet you must have already seen these beauties somewhere on the streets!

Bugatti Veyron

A mid-engine sports car, the Bugatti Veyron is a jewel in the crown of the German Volkswagen Group and manufactured in France. The original version of the car was named Car of the Decade by Top Gear, and the Veyron has won other fancy titles as well. The Guinness World Records have also recognised this beauty as the fastest produced car in the world by going up to 430.9km/h.

Porsche Carrera GT

Leading a list of Top Sports Cars of the 2000s and featuring in the top 10 of the Best Sports Cars of all times, this beauty has a V-10 engine. With technical details that will make any car lover go crazy, this car churns out 605hp at 8,000rpm. Fast and classy, it's a supercar in every sense of the word.

Mercedes-Benz G63 6x6

A formidable six-wheeler, the G63 6x6 challenges the world like no other car would. One of the toughest and best off-roaders available, the G63 comes with 400kW power and has an off-road reduction gear, among other special features. The tyre pressure control system is made to meet any topographical challenge thrown its way, whereas the interior gives it the most exclusive and comfortable feel.

Jaguar XJ 220

This two-seater British-manufactured supercar is no longer produced but continues to be seen as a modern classic. Recording a top speed of 342 km/h, the XJ 220 was designed by a group of Jaguar employees working in their free time - inspired by their love for automobile excellence. Only 271 units of the XJ 220 were made by the time production ended.

Pagani zonda

Pagani Zonda is a mid-engine Italian sports car that is mainly constructed from carbon fiber. Juan Manuel Fangio, Formula 1 legend, played an important role in its engineering and the car was even initially named after him. The car is powered by a 6.0L Mercedes V12 engine and goes up to 97 km/h in 4.2 seconds. The car is so exclusive that only five original Paganis have been built.
