The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced in a tweet on June 14 2022, the finding of an inspection campaign that they had conducted on factories in new industrial area.

As per the announcement a factory was found to be displaying products as national products; however, they were imported from Asian countries.
The factory had violated Article No. (6) of Law No. 8 of 2008 concerning consumer protection; thus, they were subject to action.
