In a bid to attract more tourist, Doha Bus, one of the premier tour-guide services in Qatar, has introduced a Night Tour service where residents and tourists can now tour the city and visit Doha’s major landmarks in the evening. The ILQ team took a ride on Doha’s first Hop-on, Hop-off sightseeing bus and also made a short video to showcase this new jewel in Doha Bus’s crown.

This nocturnal bus service gives visitors and the residents of Qatar the opportunity to take an open-top tour and on a vivid journey that reveals Qatar’s vibrant past, present and future.

The warm evening air provides the perfect conditions to enjoy Doha’s impressive skyline whilst the onboard tour guide provides superb insight into the city’s highlights and history, for both tourists and residents alike. Also, the night tour’s ‘Once Round’ format is an excellent option.

The Doha Bus Night Tour starts at 7:30 PM (Doha Local Time), departing from Souq Waqif and takes approximately 90 minutes to complete. All passengers are provided with a complimentary cup of hot Karak, one of Qatar’s signature drinks.

A multitude of both day and night tickets offer a complete Hop-on Hop-off Doha experience with the designated stops, a free route map booklet, and an entire tour message and all tour information available in seven different languages. With the options of Adult, Child or Family of 4, the Night Tour only ticket fee ranges from QR 45 – QR 235, and is valid for 24 hours. There are also special offers like group discounts, private coach tours and corporate outings.

In addition to the existing daytime City Tours and Night Tour, Doha Bus has also introduced a Qatar Foundation (QF) route that takes passengers through the ultra-modern and urban landscape of Education City while also covering sites including the Al Shaqab Equestrian Centre (Al Shaqab) and the Al Mathaf Museum of Modern Art (Mathaf). With these new additions added to the Doha Bus QF route, the tour is constantly expanding with more than 22 different stops.

Further exciting extensions to the Doha Bus services include a soon to be launched Sealine Beach Resort shuttle with paired weekend packages, as well as Monster Truck bus trips into the sand dunes and Speedboat sightseeing trips from the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA).
