Evolution Sports Academy will be welcoming youngsters between the ages of six and 16 to a free multi-sport taster session at the Doha Rugby Football Centre and Doha College on September 17.
‘Evo Soccer’ has been providing football courses to hundreds of children since 2007, and the group has now decided to offer programmes in netball, basketball, dance, karate and cricket, which are being launched this month.
The experienced and professional coaches will deliver a variety of new activities, said a spokesperson.
The ‘Super Sports Day’ on Saturday will showcase the different activities on offer, and will provide interested youngsters with a chance to sample the sports throughout the day.
The event will also feature a live DJ, bouncy castle, competitions, local business information stalls, a BBQ and other activities.
“Opportunities are also available for young people to purchase reduced sports courses by Evolution Sports Academy,” added the spokesperson.
Sports academy manager, Tommy Westmoreland, said: “We are extremely excited about this academy development and its launch on the ‘Super Sports Day.’
United Development Company (UDC) is supporting the event as part of its partnership with Doha College, aimed at supporting and enhancing student potential.
