Emirates Airlines’ flights to Doha will be enhanced with an additional daily frequency, bringing daily operations to six flights, effective from August 1. “Qatar is an incredibly significant market for Emirates offering the highest number of daily frequencies in the Middle East region. This additional daily frequency has been added to accommodate increasing demand from our customers. Qatar is an extremely viable market for Emirates and there is a clear indication that it will continue to grow exponentially in the coming years,” said Khalid al-Serkal, pictured, Emirates country manager, Qatar. The additional daily frequency to Doha will be operated by an Airbus A340-300 in a three class configuration offering 12 first class seats, 42 seats in business class and 213 seats in economy class. Passengers travelling in first class and business class in Doha will enjoy Emirates’ complimentary chauffeur driver. In addition to a new daily frequency to Doha, Emirates has also announced an extra daily frequency to Kuwait, with the city set to offer five flights per day from August 1. Emirates has operated flights to Doha since 1994, the most recent increase in frequencies was in December 2009 when services went from four flights a day to five. Gulf Times
