Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held last evening a telephone conversation with President Donald Trump of the United States of America.
During the phone call, the two sides reviewed the strategic relations between the two friendly countries and means of consolidating them to serve the common interests of the two countries.
H H the Emir and the US President affirmed their keenness to enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially in the field of combating terrorism and eliminating its causes and sources of funding within the framework of agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the two countries in this regard.
H H the Emir and the US President also exchanged views on the latest developments on the regional and international arenas.
The President of the United States invited H H the Emir to visit the United States in April and the Emir welcomed the invitation. (Source)
