Public Transportation

Doha Metro

The service timings will be as follows:

• Saturday to Thursday - 6 am till 1 am
• Friday - 2 pm till 1 am

The mentioned timings are applicable to the metrolink and metroexpress services as well.

Karwa Bus Shuttle Services

• 3 - 5 May: 1 pm to 12 am

Hamad Medical Corporation & Health Centers

• The Trauma and Emergency Center - 24-hours (as normal)
• The Pediatric Emergency Centers - 24-hours a day - seven days a week (Medical emergencies involving children under the age of 14 years)
• The Ambulance Service - 24-hours a day, seven days a week
• The HMC Contact Center - 7 am to 10 pm (as normal)
• Outpatient clinics will be closed from 1 to 9 May 2022
• The Urgent Consultation Service will be closed from 1 to 9 May and reopen on 10 May
• The National Mental Health Helpline will be closed from 1 to 3 May and reopen from 4 to 6 May - 9 am till 5 pm. On 8 May service will resume from 7 am to 3 pm, Saturday to Thursday.
• The Pharmacy Home Delivery Service will be closed from 1 to 9 May and reopen on 10 May 2022.
• HMC's Blood Donor Centers will be closed on Monday 2 May and Tuesday 3 May
  • Bayt Al Diyafah Blood Donor Center will re-open on Wednesday 4 May 2022 - from 8 am to 8 pm (closed on Fridays)
  • Blood Donor Center at the Surgical Specialty Center will re-open on Wednesday 4 May 2022 from 9 am to 5 pm (closed on Fridays)

• 2nd & 3rd day of Eid: 11 am to 9 pm
• Rapid Antigen test will be available on the 1st of Eid from 11 am to 9 pm.

All financial institutions

The Qatar Central Bank has announced, that the Eid Al Fitr holidays for all financial institutions in the country (including banks, exchange stores, insurance companies, finance, investment and financial advisories) will begin on Sunday, May 1, until Thursday, May 5.

Government services & offices

• Newborn Registration Office of the Women's Health and Research Center (Birth certificate collection) - 8:30 am to 12 pm
• Office of Humanitarian Services (Death certificate issuance services) - 8:30 am to 12 pm
• General Directorate of Traffic will operate from 8 am to 12 pm. Traffic Investigation Departments will operate 24x7.
• Nationality and Travel Documents, Passports, Traffic, and Fingerprint services - 8 am to 12 pm

Qatar Post

Holders of boxes in the General Post Office (West Bay) can access their PO boxes daily from 7 am to 10 pm.

FAHES

Since Eid falls on 2 May 2022, FAHES will operate all permanent stations from the third day of Eid from 4 May to 9 May, 8 am to 12 pm, excluding Friday and Saturday.

Parks

The Ministry of Municipality has announced timings for parks during Eid Al Fitr.

• Al Furjan Park for families, women and children: 5 am to 1 am.
• Al Khor Family Park: 8 am to 12 pm.
• Open public parks (without fences): 24 hours under the supervision of security men.

Themed and amusement parks

• Virtuocity: May 2 to 4 - 10 am to 12 am

Shopping malls and Hypermarkets

Shopping Malls:

• City Center Mall: 10 am to 12 am
• Villagio Mall: 2-7 May, 9 am to 1 am
• Tawar Mall: 3 days of Eid, 6 pm to 9 pm
  
• Doha Festival City: First day of Eid to 5th May:
  • General mall trading: 10 am to midnight/1 am
  • Food and beverage: 10 am to midnight/2 am
  • Hypermarket: 9 am to midnight

Hypermarkets:

• Family Food Center:
  • 8 am to 12 am (Sat-Thu)
  • 8 am to 10:30 am, 12 pm to 12 am (Fri)

Veterinary Clinics

Dragon Animal Care Center

• Dragon Animal Care Center will remain open from 1 pm to 9 pm on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of May 2022. After which they will resume working regular hours from 8 am to 12 am.

Qatar Vet Center

• Qatar Vet Center will be closed on May 2 for Eid but the clinic will be available for emergency calls at all times.
