Note: We'll keep updating this article as and when the announcements are made. If you're unsure of the timings, we urge you to contact the establishments directly.

Ministry of Interior

The security departments of the Ministry of Interior and Traffic Investigation sections will work 24/7 during the Eid holidays. The service-oriented departments such as Nationality and Travel Documents, Passport, Traffic, and Fingerprint Services will be working 8 am to 12 noon.

COVID-19 vaccination center located at QNCC

  • First day of Eid: 3 pm - 11 pm
  • Second day of Eid and onwards: 7 am - 11 pm

Please note that vaccinations at QNCC are strictly by appointment only and no walk-ins are allowed.

COVID-19 vaccination drive-through at Lusail and Al Wakra

The drive-through vaccination centers at Lusail and Al Wakra will continue to operate throughout the holiday from 1 pm to 12 am (midnight) with the last entry at 11 pm.

Hamad Medical Corporation

Eid Al Fitr 2021 opening hours and timings in Qatar

The working hours for Hamad Medical Corporation this Eid Al Fitr 2021 are:

  • The Trauma and Emergency Center continues to operate throughout the 24-hour holiday period as normal.
  • The Pediatric Emergency centers will also remain open 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week for medical emergencies involving children under the age of 14 years.
  • The Ambulance Service will continue to operate 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week for people requiring emergency medical assistance.
  • The Nesma'ak call center will be closed from Wednesday 12 May to Friday 14 May in observance of Eid Al Fitr will reopen on Saturday, May 15 at 10 am.
  • The Urgent Consultation Service will be closed from 12 to 14 May and reopen on Saturday 15 May from 8 am to 3 pm.
  • The National Mental Health Helpline will close from 12 to 14 May and reopen on 15 May from 9 am to 7 pm.
  • The Pharmacy Home Delivery Service will be closed from 12 to 14 May and reopen on 15 May from 8 am to 2 pm.
  • The drive-through vaccination centers at Lusail and Al Wakra will continue to operate throughout the holiday from 1 pm to 12 pm with the last entry at 11 pm.
  • HMC's Blood Donor Centers will be closed from Wednesday 12 May until Friday 14 May and will re-open Saturday 15 May from 12 pm to 8 pm.
  • The Temporary donor centers at Msheireb and Souq Waqif will also be closed and re-open Saturday 15 May from 4 pm to 8 pm.

West Bay Medicare

  • Open for emergency cases.
  • 15 May: 8 am to 4 pm (GP clinic)
  • 16 May: 8 am to 4 pm (GP clinic, ENT clinic, Pediatric clinic)
  • 17 May: All clinics will resume as normal from 7 am to 9 pm

Apollo Clinic Qatar

  • 13 May: closed
  • 14 May: 3 pm to 9 pm
  • 15-16 May: 11 am to 9 pm

Al-Ahli Hospital

The emergency department and PCR clinic at Al-Ahli Hospital will be open 24/7 during Eid. Outpatient clinics will resume work on 18 May 2021.

FAHES

The official Holiday in WOQOD Vehicles inspection (FAHES) is from Sunday, May 9, 2021, to Tuesday, May 18, 2021. Fahes is operating two stations, Mazrooah and Wakra starting May 9, 2021, until the last day of Ramadan from 8 am to 12 pm.

The above FAHES stations will also operate from May 16 to 18, 2021 from 8 am to 12 pm. Gates will close at 11:45 am.

Qatar Post

Eid Al-Fitr working hours at all Qatar Post branches are as follows:

Note: Holders of boxes in the General Post Office (West Bay) can access their PO Boxes daily from 7 am to 10 pm.

  • General Post Office (Dafna, West Bay), Lulu Hypermarket, Al Meera Mansoura, Al Wakra, Al Rayyan, Al Kharatiyat, Khalifa Town, Aziziya, Al Khor:
    • May 12 - 10 am to 1 pm; May 17 & 18 - 10 am to 1 pm, 5 pm to 8 pm; May 19 & 20 - 7 am to 8 pm; May 22 - 8 am to 12 pm; May 13 to 16 &21 - Closed.
  • Shahaniya, Al Meera Shamal, Dukhan, Al Meera Sailiya, Mesaieed, Industrial Area:
    • May 12 - 10 am to 1 pm; May 13 to 16 - closed; Mat 17 &18 - 10 am to 1 pm; May 19 & 20 - 7 am to 3 pm; May 21 & 22 - closed

  • Hypermarket: 9 am to 12 mn
  • IKEA Store - 13th, 15th May: 10 am to 11 pm; 14th May: 9 am to 11 am; 1 pm to 11 pm

Lulu Hypermarket

  • First day of Eid: 10 am onwards; Normal working hours from the second day of Eid.

Tawar Mall

  • First day of Eid: 10 am to 12 am (midnight)
  • Friday: 10 am to 11:30 am, 1 pm to 12 am (midnight)
  • Hypermarket: 8 am to 12 am (midnight) with Friday prayer timing consideration

City Center Doha

Family Food Center will operate from 4 pm to 11 pm on the first day of Eid Al Fitr 2021. Operations will resume as per normal working hours from the next day.

  • Friday: 8 am to 11 am, 12:30 pm to 12 am (midnight)

Spar Qatar

Open from 8 am to 12 pm across all their branches starting from 13 May 2021.

The mall is open from 10 am to 12 midnight.

Al Meera branches are back to their normal operating hours.

All financial institutions

Eid Al Fitr 2021 opening hours and timings in Qatar Banks

According to the Qatar Central Bank, all financial institutions in the country (banks, currency exchanges, insurance companies, finance, investment, and financial consultants) will start the Eid holiday on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, and will end on Sunday, May 16, 2021.

Doha Vets

  • Doha Vets will be closed on the 12th, 13th and 14th of May and will resume operations from 15th May 2021.

Dragon Animal Care Center

  • Dragon Animal Care Center will remain open on the 13th, 14th and 15th of May from 1 pm - 9 pm.
