HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Wahed Al Hammadi approved the annual calendar of schools for the academic year 2019/2020, reported Qatar News Agency (QNA).
According to the calendar, school staff starts school on August 20, 2019, while students start on the 25th of the same month.
The mid-year break begins on December 22, 2019, and lasts until January 2, 2020, while the second-semester break is from 5-9 April for the same year.
The end-of-year break for school staff starts on July 5 and ends on August 20, 2020.
Also under the calendar, school staff will start work on August 23, 2020, for the academic year 2021/2020 and student will attend on 25 of the same month.
