A team of 18 young activists from 11 Arab countries and the UK, including Qatar’s Al Muhannad al-Hammadi, participated in the World Economic Forum (WEF) on Middle East, which concluded yesterday at the Dead Sea. The youth representatives were members of British Council’s Global Changemakers network. Qatar was represented by al-Hammadi, who is an active member of the Qatari Student Network and Arab Youth League. The Global Changemakers are a select group of youth between the ages of 16 and 25 who have demonstrated a significant track record of achievement in their local communities through social entrepreneurship, community activism, and voluntary work.
