Dukhan Highway project to be completed this year

The multi-million riyal Dukhan Highway project will be completed by the end of this year. A works of major part of the project would be accomplished by June-July, Al Sharq reported. The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has started the load testing of various bridges and the Intersections in the project area. The QR760m project is one of the key task of Ashghal to improve and modernise its road network in the country. It includes construction of four-track dual carriageway and replacing the existing single-track dual carriageway. The renovated road will have underpasses, bridges and camel ways. The project also includes six major interchanges at Shahaniya Underpass, Samiriyya Bridge, Nasraniyya Bridge, Owainah Bridge, Roudha Bridge and Jamiliyya Bridge.
