Under the username Lamanade.qa, 29-year-old wife and full-time mom, Lama Najjar, runs an Instagram fashion and beauty blog with over 1,000 followers.

Originally from Palestine, Najjar has garnered quite the number of supporters on her Doha-based beauty blog.

"I've always been obsessed with makeup. When I was a toddler I apparently used to steal my mom's lipsticks!" Najjar said. "I've started seriously practicing makeup looks two years ago, when I came across NikkieTutotial's YouTube channel."

Najjar also shared that she doesn't celebrate Halloween, but she loves dressing up. Najjar doesn't just dress up for Halloween, she also recreated Harley Quinn's look from the Suicide Squad, just for fun.

"Most of the looks were ones I've wanted to do for a while (either ones I came across a few years ago or something I created from imagination)," Najjar said.

When asked about what people's views were on her Halloween looks, Najjar said that she expected that there would be some criticisms.

"I got some mixed reviews from family and friends. We live in a conservative region so I expected it," she said. "I personally loved doing it and it is part of who I am - I consider myself really outgoing and adventurous and like to try out new things."

Other than dressing up and creating unique looks for Halloween, Najjar also has a very distinct style that espouses modesty and cultivates the conservative fashion scene. She also shares the breakdown of her look in the caption of her photos, so followers can recreate the look with the same products or garments.
