The InterContinental Doha has announced that Buddha Bar Paris resident DJ, DJ Ravin is set to perform at the hotel’s Lava Lounge today and tomorrow evening.
“DJ Ravin will rock once more the hottest night spot in town with his new melodies and new rhythms filled with colourful vibes,” said a hotel spokesperson.
The Mauritius born artist is one of the creators of the Buddha Bar compilation series, and he has performed in Qatar on a number of occasions.
“For Ravin, life is music,” said the spokesperson, adding “he takes the listener through a journey of musical heights and provides the sounds to great inner paths and experiences”.
Ravin arrived at the Buddha Bar in Paris in 1997, since when he has produced ten albums in the Buddha Bar series, as well as solo albums and various compilations.
Lava is open to members only, with guests required to be 21 or over. Tickets cost QR150 for males and QR50 for females, with free beverages for ladies between 8 and 11pm.
