Thousands of fans got a rare treat when Grammy nominated French singer David Guetta performed at the InterContinental Hotel beach on Thursday sponsored by
iLoveQatar.net and Vodafone.
This was the star’s first ever performance in Qatar. The concert was organised by Global Djs.
The singer, known the world over for his smash hit ‘When Love Takes Over’ did not disappoint as he belted several numbers from his latest album in an electrifying performance that left his legion of fans craving for more.
Guetta, 43, has been involved with music for over two decades. He started out as a nightclub Dj in the 1980’s before releasing his first album ‘Just a little more love’ in 2001.

However, it’s his latest effort that has catapulted him to international acclaim.
‘One Love’ which features the hit ‘When Love Takes Over’ earned the singer five 2010 Grammy nominations and landed him on the latest cover of the respected Billboard magazine. He has over the years collaborated with renowned names such as Madonna, Akon, Lil Wayne and Kelly Rowland.
