A video posted on the General Authority of Customs (GAC) Twitter account shows that the anti-smuggling and customs security administration has foiled the smuggling of 2.4 tons of tobacco inside a container coming to Hamad port. The tobacco bags were hidden inside face masks boxes.
GAC calls upon all members of society to participate in the national campaign (kafeh) against customs smuggling and customs offences by providing information on smuggling of prohibited or restricted goods or tampering with customs documents, invoices and other offences, receiving and monitoring security notes in complete secrecy via hotline 16500 or e-mail [email protected]
