CNA-Qatar opens new engineering lab

Doha • The College of the North Atlantic-Qatar has opened its new Electrical Engineering laboratory this week. The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Harald Jorch, President, College of the North Atlantic - Qatar, Dr. Latifa Al-Houty, Chair, Executive Committee, Faculty of CNA-Q's School of Engineering Technology and members of local industry. "This lab is another step in ensuring our students train on the most up-to-date equipment available," said Dr. Jorch. "The equipment in this lab is exactly what students will work with on the jobsite. We are excited to offer this opportunity both to our students and to local industry which will benefit from having the best trained workers available." It is not only current CNA-Q students that will benefit from this new training facility. Through the Corporate Training and Continuing Education Department, local businesses will have the opportunity to send their employees to the College for training.
