The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic has announced a temporary closure of Wadi Al Askar Street in both directions, starting from Thursday, 3 March 2022 at 6 am for eight days.
The closure aims to complete asphalt works on the street, as part of the Roads and Infrastructure Project in Al Kharaitiyat and Izghawa, Package 1.
During the closure period, road users heading towards Wadi Al Askar Street will have to use Izghawa Street or Rawdat Umm Al Salam Street to reach Street 63 and from there to their destinations, or use Al Kharaitiyat Street and turn towards Street 55 and continue to their destinations, as shown on the attached map.
