The Criminal Investigation Department arrested two Asians with a number of fraud credit cards they used for buying expensive watches and other goods in the country.
The CID had received information about the suspects shopping from different outlets in the State with fraud credit cards. The investigation team, immediately upon receiving the information, rushed into the shop where they were present and arrested them. There were 36 fraud credit cards found with them at the time.
After receiving the permit their residential place was also inspected where some mobile phones were found which they bought with fraud cards. The persons admitted that they have come to Qatar in order to buy expensive goods by counterfeit cards as well as they paid the costs of their stay in the hotel with same.
The persons were subsequently transferred to Public Prosecution for further legal procedures.
