Weather inshore until 6 pm on Tuesday will be relatively hot during the daytime with scattered clouds and the chance of rain at some places which may be thundery at times and blowing dust at times, mild by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of thunderstorms expected associated with a sudden strong wind at some places at times.
Offshore, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of scattered rain which may be thundery at times, the report added, warning of expected thunder and rain associated with strong winds and high seas.
Wind inshore will be mainly northwesterly to northeasterly 08 to 18 knots reaching to 25 knots during the thunderstorm.
Offshore, it will be northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 knots, gusting to 25 knots during the thundery rain.
Visibility will be 4 to 8/3 kilometres or less with thunderstorms.
Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet, which may rise to 5 feet with thunder and rain, while offshore it will be 2 to 4 feet, which may rise to 8 feet with thunder and rain.
