Taking Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme forward, CGC organised another Blood Donation Campaign at its corporate office premises in Doha recently in association with Hamad Medical Corporation. This is the 2nd time that CGC hosted such an event at its official premises.
Once again, the campaign proved to be a grand success due to overwhelming response and support from the CGC staff. Meeting donation criteria, a total of 55 persons successfully donated their blood.
Anil Mahajan, COO, CGC, said on the occasion, “As a thoroughly professional company, CGC has been carrying out its responsibility towards society in a true sense of the word. The day-long CSR campaign was marked by a constant stream of would be donors whose enthusiasm was to be seen to be believed. I sincerely thank all participants and health authorities for their wholehearted support, cooperation and assistance in making this event a grand success, and look forward to CGC hosting more such events in future as well.”
The health authorities were pleasantly surprised at such a high number of successful donors and expressed their appreciation to CGC for this enthusiastic response.
All the donors were provided with snacks, nourishing fruits and juices and were well looked-after throughout the event, by the CGC Team Expressions, the hosts. CGC also presented certificate of appreciation to the participants.
