CGC and Al Asmakh ink deal on alarm surveillance system

Consolidated Gulf Co. (CGC), an ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified technology conglomerate, has signed an agreement with Al Asmakh Facility Management company to provide the central alarm surveillance system. In the presence of Brigadier Hamad al-Duhaimi, Director, Operations Department, General Directorate of Civil Defence (GDCD), Anil Mahajan, COO, CGC, and Pareal Thomas, General Manager, Al Asmakh, inked MoU to this effect recently. Anil Mahajan (1st right) and Pareal Thomas (3rd right) signing MoU in the presence of Brigadier Hamad al-Duhaimi (1st left) Speaking on the occasion, Brigadier Hamad al-Duhaimi, said, “Authorised and guided by the Ministry of Interior, CGC has set up the centralised alarm monitoring system (CAMS) that can connect all establishments in Qatar to the operations room of the National Command Centre. This CAMS system is equipped to help in saving lives and assets besides enabling residents and businesses to reduce losses from fire accidents.To ensure safer living, we advise the people of Qatar to have the fire detection system in their place. This will help the MoI and Civil Defence to approach to any accident area faster with proper counter measures to control fire or any untoward accident. CGC being the authorized service provider is responsible to deliver timely attention and services to the clients on behalf of Civil Defence.” Pareal Thomas said: “We are happy to work with CGC in having faster and better communication system in place to control any fire accident. Having the CAMS connectivity between the Fire Alarm System at Al Asmakh compounds and Civil Defence control room, the safety of our occupants and visitors are taken care with utmost attention, ensuring better safety and security to their lives and property.
