Getting around just got a whole lot easier for folks going to and from Al Wakrah as Careem is now rolling on all four wheels to serve the community. With the recent announcement of its new partnership with the Ministry of Transportation and Communication back in August 2016, the move comes as part of Qatar’s larger plan to support the nation’s increasing transit needs ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
One of the largest-growing transportation apps in the MENA region, since expanding its operations in Qatar, Careem has seen its fleet of cars in Doha double in the last six months after a high demand for reliable transport services. Customers living in Al Wakrah will also have access to Careem’s Economy option as well. To celebrate the launch Careem is offering free rides for its Al Wakrah service all day on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 under the promo code: ALWAKRAH.
