Qatar, 1st April 2011 - The Rock Challenge® is the biggest school dance and drama competition the region has ever seen and is now preparing for its most competitive season yet with more entrants than ever before. Season one will see over 4 of the region’s most talented schools will be challenging each other for the coveted first place title, The Rock Challenge® will take place from April 1st 2011 at Doha British Montessori School . Following the success of the seasons in the UAE and Globally and the incredible response from schools and pupils, season three of The Rock Challenge® has taken it up a notch and extended it to a senior show. It will give students, teachers, parents and the community the fantastic opportunity to work together to produce their performances, which give children a unique platform to express their personalities, concerns, hopes and dreams. The end result is magnificent, as the students put on a truly entertaining and inspiring show that displays the region’s youth at its very best. The Rock Challenge® is more than just a competition, but is a learning process where students master a broad range of life and vocational skills that can be used for the rest of their lives. The Rock Challenge® is not only limited to the students that perform, but encourages all students to get involved using a broad range of talents and interests including lighting, designing and building sets, make up, fundraising, budgeting, creating and sewing of costumes, choreography and music. “We are very excited for the third season of the Rock Challenge® as we have turned up the heat for this 1 day extravaganza that will showcase the region’s top school talent. The stakes are high. We are really looking forward seeing all the fantastic performances that will lead us to the final winner”, said Ms Aysel Duman, the producer of the Rock Challenge®. The Rock Challenge® team is made up of passionate and experienced professionals who have all seen and believe in its benefits to both schools and pupils. They are dedicated to helping schools participate in the event and to support them in any way possible by providing solutions and advice. The Rock Challenge® has a wide range resource available to help schools with every aspect of their involvement in the event. The Rock Challenge® is a non profit organization and has attracted over a million students world wide.
