The Directorate of Moral Guidance at the Ministry of Defense notes that the statement of Brigadier General Doctor Asaad Ahmed Khalil, the commander of the medical services at the Ministry of Defence, issued in Al-Arab newspaper earlier on Sunday, 11 October, regarding Qatar obtaining a Japanese drug which was proven effective against COVID-19 is inaccurate, and they confirmed that the vaccine is not available yet.
They also said that it should be noted that everything related to medical affairs and the agreements concluded is within the purview of the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).
