Sonu Niigaam is going to rock Doha from Khalifa Tennis Stadium tomorrow, February 19. The concert is organised by the World’s Leading Travel Agency – Regency Travel and Tours and presented by LG/Jumbo Electronics as title sponsors. Qatar Airways is the official airline partner, Regency Fleets and Al Muftah Rent A Car as the official car rental company, Grand Regency and Movenpick Tower and Suites are the official hotel and supported by Regency Group Holding, Commercial bank and Centrepoint as platinum sponsors for the concert. Empire advertising and The Peninsula acts as the media partner for this concert. Fans in Doha can expect to hear some of his celebrated songs latest being his recent hits All is well’, ‘Zoobie Doobie’, ‘Jaane nahin denge tujhe’, from Aamir Khan starrer ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Shukaranallah’ from Kurbaan, ‘Cham cham’ from ‘Striker’, ‘Taali’ and ‘Meherbaaniyaan’ from ‘Veer’ during his concert organized by Regency Travel and Tours here at the Khalifa Tennis Stadium on February 19. “Nigam is a gifted singer and an icon of music world,” said Tareq Abdullatif Taha, Chief Executive Officer, Regency Travel & Tours. “He has so many fans in Doha so we thought of inviting him as part of our expansion into event management.” “It is an honour to host Niigaam,” said N M Shafiq, General Manager, Regency Travel & Tours. “Most people only think of his Hindi songs, but he has sung many songs in other Indian languages like Bengali, Marathi, Oriya, Kannada, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Bhojpuri, Urdu and English as well.” “I haven’t really gotten a chance to properly see Doha although I have come here a couple of times,” said Nigam when asked about his endearing memories of Qatar. “All I take home are the memories of the audiences.
