Danish-based global furniture retailer, BoConcept has opened its first outlet in Qatar at the City Center mall. The store features a variety of concept furniture and accessories all imported from Denmark and other Scandinavian manufacturing facilities of the company, a company official said. The furniture retailer, which operates over 240 brand stores and 110 studios in 45 countries, provides affordable and flexible furniture with a regard for design and individuality. According to the BoConcept’s master franchisee for the Middle East and North Africa region, Ole Dahlsen, the company’s home furnishings are created for people who love design, modernity, energy and “hip” in all aspects of life. The company also makes customised furniture design available to the shoppers. BoConcept chief operations manager Gaby Salom said: “Consumers can create their own concept using the specially-designed software available on our website, bring the same to us and we will provide them exactly the same product.” According to him, the brand owners feel so strongly about offering personalised solutions to individual needs that they also give customers the freedom to design their own furniture. Visitors to Qatar’s first BoConcept store can expect to find an extensive range of contemporary furniture and accessories - everything from masculine and minimalist styles to multi-functional and statement pieces. The 2009 collection features an urban design in leather, fabrics and an array of colours. Al Mana Interiors is the local franchise partner of BoConcept, the official said. http://gulf-times.com/site/topics/article.asp?cu_no=2&item_no=289218&version=1&template_id=36&parent_id=16
