The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) announced in a tweet on April 30, 2022, that birth certificates required for newborns within the duration of Eid Al Fitr holidays can only be applied for online via the registration link on the website of the Ministry of Public Health.

The birth certificates and death certificates can be collected as follows:

• Birth Certificates: Newborn Registration Office of the Women's Health and Research Center - 8:30 am till 12 pm or delivered via Qatar Post
• Death Certificates: Office of Humanitarian Services - 8:30 am till 12 pm

It was also stated that the applications for the birth and death committee will be suspended during the time of the Eid Al Fitr holidays.
