Better weather conditions with a relative drop in temperature as northwesterly wind expected to affect the country.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority's weather charts, the country will be affected by northwesterly fresh to strong wind especially offshore between Thursday evening 31/ 10/ 2019 until next mid-week. Wind speed expected to range between 8 to 18 KT exceeding 25 Kt offshore causing wave height to rise between 4 to 7 Ft reaching 9 Ft at times in some areas. In addition, a relative drop in temperature is expected compared with previous days with maximums ranging between 30 to 35°C and minimums 20 to 26°C across the country. Therefore, the Qatar Meteorology Department urges all to be cautious and avoid going to sea as well as to follow latest updates through its official social media accounts.
