Branding Requirements

MOTC is looking for creative individuals that will give their creative input in terms of naming, logo design, tagline, and basic universe such as typography and color selection, supporting graphical elements and basic adaptations.

MOTC Branding Competition

Brand requirements for the competition are given below:

1. Name

The name must not only grab your attention but also retain it. It can be either in English or Arabic but should be easy to pronounce for the latter. Using an acronym can also be considered. The name must be accompanied by a strong rationale that explains the reasoning behind why your name is the right fit to be used for the Qatar digital cluster.

2. Tagline

The tagline should complement the name suggested and give a meaningful purpose that is timeless for years to come. The tagline will be used across all collaterals and campaigns to further strengthen the concept behind the future vision the digital cluster is heading towards.

3. Logo

The logo should be strong and can reflect the culture along with a smart, technological touch. The logo can have a corresponding emblem or be a logotype on its own. The logo must offer a glimpse into a modern world of endless digital possibilities.

4. Brand universe

The brand universe should reflect the personality of the Qatar digital cluster. From typography and color selection to graphical elements and photography style, the brand universe should take us on a journey that travels from the present into the future. The minimum requirements needed include the below (but not limited to):

  • Inspirational mood board
  • Naming rationale
  • Logo design
  • Color palette (primary, secondary)
  • Typography selection
  • Graphical elements
  • Imagery style
  • Applications on business cards & letterheads
  • Mock-up adaptations such as adverts and posters
