Doha: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has announced that all banks and financial institutions under the control of QCB will be closed to the public on Sunday, March 4. A press release issued by Qatar Central Bank said the closure is pursuant to the Council of Ministers Decision of 2009 that stipulated that the first Sunday of March each year shall be an official holiday for all banks in Qatar.
