Banana Island Resort confirmed via a statement on an Instagram post on June 22 2022, that the rumoured 'Banana Island Festival' is fake.
The festival was promoted on social media, promising to feature artists such as 'Beyonce', 'The Weeknd', Saad Lamjarred' and others.
It was also announced that tickets were available for purchase allowing for only a crypto currency payment.
However, Banana Island Resort has confirmed that no such event is set to happen and to refrain from any ticket purchases.
