TWO persons, wanted by law agencies in Qatar have been arrested with the co-operation of Interpol Bahrain, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry said. The arrest was announced by the head of Qatar’s Interpol section Brigadier Khalifa Nasr al-Nasr recently. According to the official, the arrest was the result of the Interior Ministry’s constant efforts on countering terrorism and ensuring social security and stability. The wanted persons were arrested with the co-operation of Bahraini Interpol “in the framework of bilateral co-operation”. Brig al- Nasr added that the Interpol section in Qatar had been maintaining security co-operation at regional and international levels by exchanging information about crimes and arresting criminals, according to the international laws and bilateral treaties.
