BAE Systems will showcase its Eurofighter Typhoon, alongside other products at this year’s Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (Dimdex 2014).

BAE Systems’ presence at Dimdex 2014 will include a Eurofighter Typhoon in a multi-role configuration, the Hawk advanced jet trainer, the 57mk3 and 40mk4 Naval Gun systems and LEMUR, a remotely controlled weapon system. BAE Systems will also showcase its capabilities in delivering cost-effective training, services and support.

“We are pleased to be attending Dimdex for the first time – the flagship naval and defence industry event in Qatar – and our advanced military air and naval gun capabilities are a key feature of our stand. As a trusted defence and security partner throughout the Gulf region, BAE Systems is forging a strong bond with Qatar as the nation makes historic investments and progress towards its vision for the future. We would like to thank the Qatar Armed Forces for providing the perfect platform to connect with customers and decision-makers in Qatar,” said Ben Bridge, managing director (Middle East & Africa) for BAE Systems.

In November 2013, Eurofighter Typhoon joined Britain’s famous Red Arrows, one of the world’s premier aerobatic teams, in a public display over Doha’s Corniche as part of the Red Arrows’ wider Middle East tour.

Dimdex 2014 will be hosted at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) from March 25 to 27. BAE Systems will be located at Stand H3-55 near the entrance of Hall 3 at QNCC.
