Today, the dugongs were re-released, about a month after they were rescued, and after they were treated and rehabilitated to return to their natural environment. pic.twitter.com/oD54DoaLZt
The release comes in after almost a month of care and rehabilitation since their rescue.
The baby dugongs had been initially moved to the Fuwairit (Sea Turtle Project) area when rescued and were treated to ensure they are able to rely on their selves before being released.
