The General Directorate of Endowments at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced that it has organized a project of Iftar meals for fasting people for the year 1444 AH, which includes 10 sites in different regions of the country with a population density, through the endowment of Iftar fasting within the projects of the endowment bank for righteousness.
The Director General of the General Department of Endowments, Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al Thani, confirmed that the General Department is keen to hold charity banquets annually, during the holy month of Ramadan, in order to fulfill the conditions of honorable endowers, and the objectives of the Endowment Bank for Charity and holiness in promoting community partnership.
For his part, Assistant Director General of the General Department of Endowments Mohammed Yaqoub Al Ali said that this year, the department aims to provide Iftar for 10,000 fasting people daily in various sites, thanks to the kind donations from the philanthropists and dignified endowers.
He urged the good people and honorable endowers to contribute to supporting Iftar sites.
The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs published a list of areas in which the tents will be available, which are as follows:
There will also be the distribution of Iftar meals in the areas of Corniche, Museum of Islamic Art, Souq Waqif, Katara, Lusail, The Pearl, Old Al Rayan prayer ground and Eid Prayer ground in Al Aziziya.
