The Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Awqaf has called upon all Muslims in Qatar to sight the crescent of Ramadan on Thursday evening (Shaaban 30 of 1441 AH), given that the arrival of the month of Shaaban was not verified on Rajab 29, it stated on a post in its Twitter account.

The Committee said whoever witnesses the crescent should head to the headquarters of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs (Al Dafna) to report his testimony. The committee will meet immediately after Maghreb prayer.
