In an online seminar held earlier today organised by the General Directorate of Information Systems, in cooperation with the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior, the ministry said its electronic services have recently introduced a new concept for ZeroClick services for companies, according to the Qatar Tribune.
This service will help companies who will just need to register for the automatic residency renewal through the Metrash2 app. The service will, then, automatically renew the residency for employees and send their IDs to the company's address.
This online webinar was attended by officials of companies and establishments, and included. Lt. Muhammad Khalid Al-Tamimi, Officer of Smart Devices Section at the Electronic Services Department in the GDIS, who explained the advantages of the services offered by Metrash 2 for citizens, residents and companies in Qatar. He also announced that about 2 million users had already benefitted from the service.
Metrash2 provides users with 220 active services and is available in 6 languages - Arabic, English, French, Malayalam, Urdu, and Spanish. It is safe, provides encrypted services and supports most smart devices.
Lt. Muhammad Khalid Al-Tamimi, also told participants of the online seminar that procedures for transactions that take place through the Metrash2 app, like sending reminder notices to users to inform them of the expiry date of their documents, completing government procedures and handling any error that takes place automatically.
